PADI Emergency Oxygene Provider Instructor Course

Statistics shows that fewer then 50 percent of all injured divers receive emergency oxygen in the field. Of this 50 percent, still fewer receive oxygen concentrations approaching the recommended 100 percent. PADIs recently released O2 program can help to change this fact. We got a job to do!
The PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor Courses that will be conducted in Copenhagen and Stockholm requires that you sign up to PADI Nordic info@padi.se Due to limited space. Though the program is free of charge, application fee and required material is not included.

New Renewal Decal

The use of PADI’s previous status decal system worked well for us for years. However, the new system has a distinct advantage—it provides a means to get real-time status information about any PADI Member. This year you will receive this decal, and it does not expire. Because of this, there will be no more decals in the future.

The previous decal system provided information as to that member’s status at the time of decal issuance. Member status can change throughout the year due to a variety of reasons – insurance expiration, Quality Assurance status, or other status-related reasons. Our new decal simply refers everyone to PADI’s Pro Chek system.

With Pro Chek available for immediate status verification with real-time accuracy, you and PADI Dive Center employers can check member status 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at
www.padimembers.com. Future plans include making Pro Chek services available on padi.com for diving consumers.

In addition to providing real-time status verification, the new system:
  1. Minimizes our footprint on the environment by reducing the amount of paper we produce and mail to you

  2. Helps maintain quality assurance, as information employers receive about you is always complete and accurate.

  3. Provides a means for you check your renewal status and confirm that your renewal was processed.
We have already been receiving positive feedback from numerous members around the world – we hope you like the change as well! It’s simple; just place your new decal over your existing decal.

If you have any questions about your renewal, please contact us.

e-Learning for whom?

This course language is English.
The latest survey shows; 80 % of PADI e-Learners go trough the local Dive center.
12 % of the e-Learners states, they would never have taken the OWD course if it was not for the e-Learning option.
Use the opportunity and add a link from your Dive Center web page. We see a growing interest from Nordic citizens about e-Learning, in spite of the language.
A good idea is also to inform the customer about the course language, as showed here.

The Activity or PADI Corner

If the most important thing we can provide our students with is diving activities and diving instructions, why it is so difficult to find diving instructions and diving activities on display in the Dive center?

One easy solution, is to create a space for displaying: Activities, schedules for local trips, travel and your PADI courses. This makes it more easy for your students to see and acess all the fun and interesting activities and courses you offer.

The example on the picture is from Oxygene Göteborg.
